"Z" WITHOUT SENSORS
When using the MC2 without a
sensor, select "Z" for the sensor option. Sometimes it
is not necessary to use sensors or it may be required to remotely locate
sensors. In the later, the MPS-V6 or MPS-V8 can be remotely
located; closer to the pick up point to maximize the response and
accuracy of the "part on - part off" vacuum point. The
programmable MPS-7 Series display can precisely control the sensor npn
or pnp outputs. For remote sensing applications, the sensors must
be ordered separately.

WITH "MPS-2" SENSORS
When using the MC2 with an
MPS-V2 sensor, select "V2" for the sensor option.
The "V2" sensor has 2 npn or pnp outputs available for
vacuum confirmation. Typical response times for the outputs
with an average circuit is less than 50 msec. The output
response time of this sensor is less than 2.5 msec.

WITH "MVS-201" SENSORS
When using the MC2 with the
MVS-201 sensor, select "201" for the sensor
option. The "201" sensor has one output npn or
pnp for vacuum confirmation and a control output that interfaces
directly with the blow-off release pilot valve. With
programmable time control features and a special chip driver,
the sensor automatically activates the blow-off release when the
vacuum signal from the PLC is discontinued. This
eliminates, THE PREVIOUSLY REQUIRED, PLC output to activate the
blow-off release. This new technology reduces PLC output
requirements by 50% and reduces installation to a simple 4 wire
system by wiring the sensors only. For the MC2, there are
2 modes of operation for various applications. The output
response of the sensor is less than 2.5 msec.

WITH "MPS-6" SENSORS
When using the MC2 with
the MPS -V6 sensor, select "V6" for the sensor
option. The "V6" sensor has one normally
open and one normally closed npn or pnp output available for
vacuum confirmation. The MPS-6 sensor is a cost
effective performer with an output response time less than 1
msec.. and a nice adjustable 270 degree output range.

MANIFOLD SERIES
When using the MC2
in a manifold configuration, select the "M"
option and indicate the number of stations on the
suffix. The MC2 can be assembled into a , 2 to a
maximum of 8 station, manifold system. Each
station is independent and performs consistently;
regardless of the number of stations operating.
The manifold has a common inlet pressure port.

CLEAN ROOM SERIES
When using the
MC2 in a clean room environment where the exhaust
needs to be contained, select the
"C" option. Here the silencer is
removed for a barb connection to contain the exhaust
to protect the environment. Simply connect
tubing to the barb connection to manage the exhaust.
