MPS-6 - OUTPUT MODES

 

HYSTERESIS DEFINITION

 

Hysteresis Mode (HYS): This output mode controls the output signal  "NPN/PNP" at the switch point on  the graph below.

 

The switch point is adjusted with a 2/3 turn trimmer.  Rotate the trimmer clockwise to increase the switch point (output ON/OFF) or counter-clockwise to decrease the switch point (output ON/OFF).  The MPS-6 hysteresis is a value below the switch point and  is factory set at 2% of the switch point (S).  A separate pressure gauge is necessary to accurately adjust the switch point.
